Vauxhall Corsa-e and Mokka-e get revised trim levels but unchanged pricing for 2022

Orders open from 6 April for deliveries starting in August; all versions remain eligible for government plug-in car grant

Corsa Ultimate

Vauxhall has revised the pricing and trim levels for its Corsa supermini and Mokka SUV models for 2022. The changes mirror those already introduced on the larger Astra, with a simple three-strong line-up of Design, GS Line and Ultimate specifications being offered across the entire range.

According to Vauxhall, Design is marked out by the brand's ‘Bold and Pure’ styling and the presence of standard driver-assistance technology, while GS Line "combines striking sports styling, inside and out, with advanced comfort and convenience technology" and Ultimate "combines an evolution of the GS Line styling with even more premium technologies".

Mokka-e

Both the Corsa-e and Mokka-e electric models will skip the entry-level Design trim and be available only in GS Line and Ultimate guises, although the starting prices for all versions will remain below the £32,000 threshold for the government's £1,500 plug-in car grant.

In both cases, GS Line replaces the previous SRi Premium variant and Ultimate replaces the outgoing Elite Premium configuration. Pricing is unchanged from the predecessor trims, with the Corsa-e GS Line starting from £27,055 and Corsa-e Ultimate from £29,660 (after the grant has been applied in both cases).

Corsa-e interior

The Corsa-e now comes as standard with Vauxhall’s 'e-toggle' shifter, which was already available on the Mokka-e, in place of the previous 'cobra' design. The new control allows drivers to switch between the reverse, neutral and drive modes, while a 'B' button increases the strength of the regenerative braking.

No mechanical changes have been made to either car; both continue to use the same 134bhp electric motor and 50kWh battery as before, with a 222-mile range for the Corsa-e, versus 209 for the Mokka-e.
